We at the Hot Rhythm Foundation endeavor to foster a welcoming environment for all. To this end, all Hot Rhythm Foundation event attendees must abide by the following code of conduct.
Harassment, physical or verbal abuse, and discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.
Unwanted attention and physical contact are uncomfortable and unwelcome. Be respectful of another's physical and emotional space. If accidental contact is made on or off the dance floor, acknowledgement and apology is the norm. Take measures to avoid accidental contact in the future. Inappropriate physical contact is not tolerated.
Partner dancing is a social endeavor. Any person may request to dance with another. Any person may decline a dance with another, no explanation is owed. Please be respectful.
We are guests at our venues. Exercise care and be respectful of the venue’s physical space, equipment, belongings, and amenities, as well as rented equipment such as lights, sound and video equipment.
Use common sense when leaving personal items unattended at public dances and events.
We recommend attendees under the age of 16 be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Underage consumption of alcohol, and providing alcohol to minors is strictly forbidden. Violators will be expelled from the event.
Harassment and discrimination concerns and situations which are hazardous or unlawful should be brought to a Hot Rhythm Foundation Board or Committee member.
